Y2K Films was founded in 2024, while still in film school, in Bombay. It began as a conviction: that the industry's appetite for algorithmic, soulless content had created a vacuum, and that the only way to fill it was to build something from scratch with people who actually cared.
The company is built around a network of filmmakers, writers, and artists who want to say something brave and exciting together. Friends making films for fun. The ecosystem begins with us.
